Reviews of the highwaygirl book

“Well what can I say, this was a fabulous engaging read, a real page turner.
A very enjoyable story of rebellion and adventure set in the 18th Century, going from the countryside of England to the wilds of America. We follow the adventures of two aristocratic cousins, Beatrice and Christopher. Beatrice is wild at heart, loves horses and hates the confines of society with all its rules she is expected to follow, she loves nothing more than the freedom of riding around the countryside on her horse Asta, riding astride in breeches. But all her family/Father is interested in doing is marrying her off to some aging aristocrat..”
